What WP PlugIndex does
WP PlugIndex maintains its own searchable index of public WordPress.org plugin-directory data. It provides independent search, plugin profiles, recently updated lists and new-plugin discovery while keeping compatibility and maintenance information easy to see.
Where the data comes from
Plugin metadata is sourced from the public WordPress.org plugin directory and refreshed on a frequent schedule. WP PlugIndex does not host the plugin packages and does not replace WordPress.org as the original plugin source.
Independent status
WP PlugIndex is an independent project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by WordPress.org, Automattic or the WordPress Foundation. Search ordering and discovery presentation are WP PlugIndex's own.
