Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Add Plain-Text Email version 1.2.1 as active, updated 2mo ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

About this plugin
Add Plain-Text Email
This plugin will add a plain/text version of your HTML emails to your WordPress emails. This decreases the chance of your legit emails being marked as spam by tools as SpamAssassin.
This plugin comes without any settings. When activated, it will automatically look for HTML emails being sent using the wp_mail() function and when necessary add the plain text version.
The source code of this plugin is available on GitHub: ibericode/wp-add-plaintext-email.
