Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records ArchivesPress: Index Blocks for WordPress version 3.5 as active, updated 2mo ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.
Overview
About this plugin
Display indexes based on the dates (years, months, and days archives), authors, and taxonomy terms for quick navigation and filtering of posts with various customization options available for each shortcode or block used.
The plugin uses shortcodes for each of the archive indexes. This includes three shortcodes, each one with various attributes to configure the index and styling. And, the plugin also includes three blocks for the Gutenberg Block Editor.
Each block can be configured via the Block Sidebar.
