Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records Bina – AI Form Builder for Contact Form 7 with Drag & Drop, Entries & Styling version 1.1.1 as active, updated 3mo ago and tested up to WordPress 7.0.

Overview

About this plugin

Bina turns Contact Form 7 into a visual form builder.

Import an existing CF7 form with one click, edit it by dragging fields around, and push it back live when you are happy. You never touch shortcode syntax or markup.

Nothing on your site changes until you decide it should. An imported form arrives as a draft, you preview it on the front end before it goes anywhere, and every push can be rolled back for 24 hours. That safety net exists for one reason: pushing a form live regenerates its Contact Form 7 markup.

Your fields, names, options and mail settings are kept, but any custom HTML around them is rebuilt in Bina’s layout.

Contact Form 7 does not save submissions on its own. Bina saves every entry to your own WordPress database, where you can search them, mark them read, and export the lot to CSV.

You can also style Contact Form 7 without CSS. Pick colors, spacing and fonts for one form at a time and watch the preview change as you go.

Your forms stay Contact Form 7 forms. Bina writes ordinary CF7 markup, so your mail settings, your integrations and your CF7 add-ons carry on working exactly as before.

Generate a Contact Form 7 form with AI

If you would rather describe a form than draw it, Bina can draft a Contact Form 7 form from a plain-English description. Write “an appointment request form with date, time and phone number” and read what comes back before anything is created. That part runs on your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Gemini, and stays switched off until you add one.

Why a visual editor instead of hand-written CF7 tags

CF7 still handles submission, validation and mail, so there is nothing to migrate and nothing to be locked into. Deactivate Bina whenever you like and your forms keep working as normal Contact Form 7 forms.

Imports of an existing Contact Form 7 form arrive in Bina as a draft. Your live form changes only when you push it, you get a preview first, and any push can be rolled back with one click for the next 24 hours.

Bina stores every Contact Form 7 submission in your own WordPress database rather than only emailing it out.

Bina sends nothing off your site unless you switch it on: anonymous usage statistics, or the AI generator with your own provider key. Your form entries and your visitors’ personal data stay on your server in every case.

The front end weighs under 15KB, and its styling applies only to the forms Bina manages.

What Bina adds to Contact Form 7

  • Build a form with AI: write “an appointment request form with date, time and phone number”, read what comes back, ask for changes, then create the form. It uses your own API key for OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Gemini, and does nothing at all until you add one.
  • Build your form visually: drag fields into place and resize responsive multi-column rows. This is the two-column Contact Form 7 layout that normally needs hand-written CSS.
  • Style your forms without CSS: colors, spacing, fonts, borders and field height are all controls in Bina’s Appearance panel, with Normal, Hover and Focus states and a live preview. It styles one Contact Form 7 form at a time, and the markup stays standard CF7.
  • Keep every submission: Bina saves each Contact Form 7 entry to your own WordPress database, with read and unread states, search, and CSV export in one click.
  • Import your forms in one click: any existing Contact Form 7 form comes into Bina as it is. Nothing on your site changes until you push.
  • Nothing goes live until you push: your edits sit in a draft. Bina warns you if somebody has edited the form in the CF7 admin meanwhile, and every push can be rolled back for 24 hours.
  • Supports all Contact Form 7 fields: all 14 types. Text, email, textarea, dropdown, checkboxes, radio, file upload, date, number, URL, tel, hidden, acceptance and quiz. Tags from CF7 add-ons are preserved and keep working.
  • Your field settings stay intact: every Contact Form 7 field option survives the trip, including min and max, placeholder, autocomplete, readonly, akismet, custom classes and ids.
  • Edit at speed: a hover toolbar for move, duplicate and delete, plus keyboard shortcuts and undo/redo.
  • Autosave while you work: your progress survives a crash or an accidentally closed tab.
  • Preview on your own theme: see the form rendered on the front end, styled the way your visitors will see it.
  • Your other forms stay untouched: the styling is lightweight and low-specificity, and applies only to Bina-managed forms. Your other CF7 forms are never restyled, and one filter turns it off entirely.
  • Read the code Bina wrote: a code view shows the generated CF7 markup whenever you want to check it.
