Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Carbon Code version 1.0.0 as active, updated 7y ago and tested up to WordPress 5.2.

About this plugin
Carbon Code
The easiest way to create beautiful images of code comes to Gutenberg, the WordPress block editor!
How To
Add a \”Carbon Code\” Block to your post.
Write your code directly in the editor, copy/paste, or even drag a file into it.
Use the toolbar to customize the syntax highlighting theme, background color/image, window effects/paddings, fonts, and even upload your own. Then save your customizations as a preset.
Brace for awesomeness!
Your preview or published post will render your customized block with a handy copy to clipboard button.
Thanks
To everyone who worked on Carbon, which this project forked.

“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
