Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records Brillocraft Connector version 1.2.0 as active, updated 8d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

Brillocraft is a no-code builder that turns your WooCommerce store into a branded mobile app. This plugin connects your store to Brillocraft in three steps, right from your WordPress admin:

  • Connect: approve access on WooCommerce’s own approval page.
  • Sync: Brillocraft checks that it can read your products, categories and orders.
  • Build your app: open the Brillocraft dashboard in one click. You’re signed in automatically.

The Brillocraft page in your admin always shows your connection status, and tells you what to do if Brillocraft ever loses access (for example, if the API key is removed or your site address changes).

The plugin also provides the REST API endpoints your app uses for:

  • Customer login
  • Password reset
  • Account deletion
  • Store verification (ping endpoint)

Features

  • Connect from WordPress with WooCommerce’s standard approval screen
  • Connection status, with clear recovery steps when something needs attention
  • One-click, automatic sign-in to the Brillocraft dashboard
  • Works in right-to-left (RTL) admin languages, and is keyboard accessible
  • Capture kits: automatic install popup, install prompt and iPhone Smart Banner for connected stores
  • Inline download blocks and banners through the brillocraft_capture shortcode; all widgets use your existing Brillocraft settings and templates

What is sent, and when:

  • When you click Connect store: your store name, site address, the email address of the admin who clicks, and the WordPress, WooCommerce and plugin versions. This is sent to api.brillocraft.com.
  • When you approve access: WooCommerce itself sends a WooCommerce REST API key (read/write) to Brillocraft. You can see and remove this key at any time in WooCommerce › Settings › Advanced › REST API.
  • Right after approval: Brillocraft calls this plugin’s /wp-json/brillocraft/v1/connection endpoint, authenticated with that key, to deliver a secret that signs all later requests. Brillocraft then reads your product, category and order totals to confirm access.
  • While connected: a connection status check when you open the Brillocraft page; once a day, a check with your site address, plugin, WordPress and WooCommerce versions, and whether the API key still exists.
  • When you click Open Brillocraft dashboard: your WordPress user ID and email address, to create a single-use sign-in link that expires after 5 minutes.
  • When you deactivate, reactivate, disconnect or delete the plugin: a notice of that event, so the dashboard shows the right status.
  • Stores connected with version 1.0.x: when you first open the Brillocraft page, your site address and the last 7 characters of the API key (as shown in WooCommerce) are sent, so Brillocraft can link your existing connection without reconnecting.
