org slug: cache-xml-sitemap ) pre-generates static XML sitemap cache files and serves them with correct application/xml headers. Built for sites using Yoast SEO, Rank Math, or WordPress core wp-sitemap XML.

Detects Yoast SEO, Rank Math, and core WordPress XML sitemaps when present.
WP-Cron background regeneration; fast static file serving for sitemap URLs.
Page-cache conflict notices (LiteSpeed Cache, W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache).
Optional Yoast internal transient sitemap cache toggle (off by default) with stale-cache warning.
Subdirectory installs: request paths normalized against home_url for reliable cache hits.
x release that only enabled Yoast’s wpseo_enable_xml_sitemap_transient_caching filter. 0 is a full rewrite under the same plugin slug.
