Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records Cartdock – Sticky Add to Cart for WooCommerce version 1.1.13 as active, updated 3d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

Cartdock adds a slim sticky add-to-cart bar to the bottom of your WooCommerce

single product pages. It stays hidden until the shopper scrolls past the main

add-to-cart button, then slides into view showing the product title, price and a

buy button, so the add-to-cart control is still reachable on long pages.

On variable products the bar follows the native variations form. As the shopper

picks options, the price and the buy button update to match the selected variation, and the button

disables itself when the chosen variation is out of stock. Cartdock does not load its own copy of jQuery; it listens to

the variation events WooCommerce already fires.

The bar is positioned with CSS position: fixed and starts hidden, so it sits

outside the document flow and does not push other content around or cause

layout shift when it appears.

Features

  • Sticky add-to-cart bar on single product pages, revealed once the shopper scrolls past the main button.
  • Scroll threshold you set in pixels (0 to 5000), so you decide how far down the bar kicks in.
  • Shows a small product thumbnail, the title, the price and a buy button. The thumbnail is hidden on screens 360px wide and narrower.
  • The bar’s Add to cart sends the quantity chosen in the product form, kept within that field’s minimum, maximum and step.
  • On variable products the price tracks the variation the shopper has selected, and the button disables itself if that variation is out of stock.
  • Marked up as an ARIA region with a visible focus state and screen-reader label.
  • Honours prefers-reduced-motion and has a dark-mode style.
  • The bar is fixed to the viewport and starts hidden, so it does not cause layout shift.
  • Ships with a POT file for translation, and deleting the plugin removes the two options it stores.
  • Declares HPOS and cart/checkout blocks compatibility.

Works with other Plogins plugins

External Services

Cartdock does not connect to any external services. It sends no data off your site

css

js ) are served from your own install, and the front-end script reads

only a small anchorConfig object (the scroll threshold) that WordPress prints inline.

All of Cartdock’s data stays in your database: it stores two autoloaded-off options,

anchor_settings (the enable toggle and scroll threshold) and anchor_db_version,

and keeps no per-product data. Both options are removed when you delete the plugin.

Cartdock sends no email and makes no HTTP requests of its own.
