The plugin writes a new temporary file and validates it before replacing the original. MPEG audio data are copied without modification. 3; unsupported custom frames are removed when the file is saved.
mp3 does not send media files or metadata to external services and does not collect usage data.

This plugin processes MP3 files locally on the WordPress server. It does not transmit files, metadata, or personal data to third parties. The optional Donate link opens an external page only when an administrator clicks it.
