Does Content Visibility send my site to OpenAI?
No — not automatically. Local scans run entirely on your server. If you optionally add an OpenAI API key, the plugin can generate an AI Improvement Plan only after you deliberately click Generate AI Improvement Plan on the dashboard.
That sends a compact summary of your latest scan findings, not your whole website. AI-readable summaries are generated locally from published content unless you optionally enable OpenAI enhancement in Settings and click Generate on the dashboard. No rankings, citations, traffic, recommendations, or AI inclusion are guaranteed.
What are AI-readable files?
md summaries built from published public content only. These are concise machine-readable briefings — not full post dumps — and do not expose private, draft, password-protected, or unpublished content.
