Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Custom AJAX Search Results (C.A.S.R.) version 1.0.2 as active, updated 3y ago and tested up to WordPress 6.3.
Overview
About this plugin
R. is a plugin that, through a shortcode — [my-search-form] —, inserts a search bar with AJAX results display anywhere on WordPress sites.
The plugin was developed with the performance needs of modern websites in mind, including Core Web Vitals; thus, its styles and scripts are loaded on the pages where they are actually needed.
