Help shoppers find the right skincare products for their needs.
Dermaself brings AI-powered skin analysis and personalized skincare
recommendations to your WooCommerce store. Shoppers answer a short customizable
quiz and take a selfie. The AI analyzes visible skin characteristics from the
selfie and builds a personalized skincare routine using products from your
catalog.
Recommendations are based on the shopper’s skin profile and product ingredient
(INCI) information, with explanations of why each product was selected.
Shoppers can add the recommended routine to their WooCommerce cart in one click.
Manage the experience directly from WordPress: customize the quiz and routines,
sync your product catalog, adjust branding, monitor performance and connect
marketing integrations.

- Place the skin test anywhere: a Gutenberg block, an Elementor widget, a
shortcode, a floating button, or automatically on product, shop and cart
pages, including the Cart block.
- Sync your catalog in one click: name, price, description, image and link are
read automatically. Field mapping is there for data kept in custom fields.
- Correct the category of any product, and choose which steps each routine
shows.
- Offer a discount on the recommended products only.
- The skin test is available in Italian, English and Spanish, and follows your
store’s language.
How it works
- Your customer opens the skin test from your store and answers a few
questions.
- They take a selfie: Dermaself analyses visible skin characteristics such as
dryness, redness, spots, pimples, pores and wrinkles.
- They get a morning, evening and weekly routine made of your products, and
add it to the cart.
What you need
A Dermaself account. it/signup, then paste your
connection key into the plugin’s Connection screen.
The Free plan includes 25 skin analyses per month and up to 100 products. Paid
plans offer higher analysis allowances, with catalog limits depending on the
selected plan. Enterprise is available on request for unlimited analyses and
products.
The plugin includes quiz and routine management, customization, analytics and
marketing integrations, subject to the conditions of the selected plan.
The quiz button appears on your store once the plugin is connected and the
quiz is published.
WooCommerce is required for the product catalog and cart features.

All plugin data goes here: your quiz configuration, your product catalog, quiz
sessions and their answers, the skin analysis, cart snapshots, and orders
containing recommended products. Requests are signed with your store’s key.

The quiz itself, loaded in an iframe on your storefront. It receives your shop
identifier, the customer’s answers, and — if the customer takes one — their
photo, which is analysed and not stored on your site.

Product descriptions and ingredient lists you sync are sent to OpenAI by the
Dermaself service to classify each product. Customer data is not.
