DigitalCraft Content Generator for WooCommerce

DigitalCraft Content Generator for WooCommerce adds an “AI Content Generator” box to the WooCommerce product edit screen. From the product’s existing description, it uses WordPress’s own built-in AI Client to write an engaging full product description — optionally with a short feature-list of key selling points — and can generate a matching product photo. It can also suggest WooCommerce categories and tags for the product.

You choose whether to generate the description, the image, and/or category/tag suggestions — and separately choose what actually gets applied to the product.

This plugin does not store an AI provider API key itself. g. for OpenAI, Google Gemini, or Anthropic Claude) — the same connection any other AI Client-compatible plugin on your site can reuse.

Requirements

• WordPress 7.0 or newer (for the built-in AI Client), with WooCommerce active.

• At least one AI provider connected under Settings > Connectors, via that provider’s own Connector plugin, with access to a chat model for text generation and/or an image-capable model for image generation. That provider requires its own paid account; this plugin does not provide any AI service itself.

DigitalCraft AI Content Generator PRO adds bulk-fill for your entire catalog — select hundreds of products on the Products list, run one bulk action, and only genuinely missing content gets filled in (existing descriptions and images are never overwritten). It runs in the background with a live progress toast and cancel/retry controls.

Pro also lets you attach a real photo of the product as a visual reference, so the generated image matches its actual shape, color, materials and labeling.

External services

This plugin does not connect to any AI provider directly. It sends prompts through WordPress’s own built-in AI Client, which routes them to whichever AI provider you’ve connected via a separate Connector plugin (installed and configured under Settings > Connectors) — that Connector plugin makes the actual external request, using credentials it manages itself.

What is sent, and when: when you click “Generate” on a product, this plugin builds a prompt containing that product’s name and existing description text, and passes it to WordPress’s AI Client for whichever provider is currently selected in this plugin’s settings. This only happens when you click Generate — never automatically or in the background.

Which service actually receives this data depends entirely on which Connector plugin(s) you’ve installed and configured — this plugin has no say in it and ships with none of its own. Consult that Connector plugin’s own documentation for its provider’s terms of service and privacy policy.

This plugin does not proxy, store, or resell access to any AI provider, and never sees the API key used to reach one.
