Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Disable Privacy Tools version 1.1 as active, updated 4y ago and tested up to WordPress 5.8.
Overview
About this plugin
6 added a few tools to help you creating and displaying a privacy policy or assist with requests for exporting/erasing personal data.
Depending on your location or type of install (the tools may not be suitable for Multisite or large networks), you may have already taken measures to comply with existing privacy laws or/and you do not need them at all.
With this plugin, all the new admin screens will be disabled to prevent cluttering your admin with more unused items. It also prevents showing you the feature pointer if you install this plugin before the update.

“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
