Requires at least 3.0 Tested up to 3.3.1 Stable tag: 1.2 This plugin allows easy media downloads count using shortcodes
Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Easy Download Media Counter version 1.2 as active, updated 13y ago and without a listed Tested up to version.
If you need to know how many times a file is downloaded by your visitors then this plugin is for you! Just insert a simple shortcode and that’s it! You can also a simple parameter to any download link and the count will be done too!
