Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records Easy Store Management for WooCommerce version 2.2.0 as active, updated 2mo ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

Easy Store Management for WooCommerce turns the WordPress admin into a clean, focused store workspace: no posts, no pages, no plugin menus, no dashboard noise. Just orders, products and customers.

Easy Store Mode, on and off in one click

The simplified admin is a mode, not a life sentence. Pick which roles get it by default (Shop manager, out of the box) and everyone can flip it for themselves from a switch in the admin bar or from their user profile. An administrator who wants the calm store view gets it in one click, and gets the full WordPress back the same way.

Key features

  • Clean interface: hides everything that is not store related, menus, dashboard widgets and admin bar items
  • Reorganized menus: Orders and Customers get their own top-level menu, WooCommerce becomes “Store”
  • Order shortcuts: an Orders menu in the admin bar with a counter of orders waiting for payment or on hold, one entry per status, and a search box to jump straight to an order by number or customer email
  • Low stock warning: a heads-up in the admin bar when products drop below your WooCommerce low stock threshold, opening the products list filtered to what is running out
  • Land where you work: log in and go straight to Orders instead of the Dashboard
  • Quick user switching: look at the store through a customer account to reproduce a cart or checkout problem, and come back to your own account in one click
  • Fully configurable: a settings page under WooCommerce where every one of the above can be turned on or off
  • You decide what stays: the menus and the dashboard widgets your site really has are listed on the settings page, so keeping the ones you use is a matter of ticking a box, with no slugs to look up
  • Menus in working order: Store, Orders, Products, Customers, Users, Withdrawals, Analytics and Marketing, with the Payments shortcut out of the way
  • Plays well with your other plugins: the Users screen stays available so User Switching keeps working, the Consent log of Terms & Conditions Consent Log is reachable, and the Withdrawals screen of EU Withdrawal Compliance shows up for whoever has been given permission to handle requests
  • HPOS ready: every order link points at the right screen whether your store uses High-Performance Order Storage or the classic one

About user switching

Site administrators can switch to any user they are allowed to edit, the usual WordPress rule. Anybody else, a shop manager in practice, needs an administrator to turn on the delegation setting first. Even then they can only reach accounts whose roles are all on the switchable list and that hold no administrative capability, so an administrator account is never reachable that way.

If you already use the User Switching plugin, this feature steps aside and lets it do the work.

A note on what this plugin is

Hiding menus is about comfort and focus, not about security. What each person is allowed to do is still decided by their WordPress capabilities, exactly as before installing this plugin.
