Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records EasyBooster version 1.1.3 as active, updated 2mo ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

Want to boost your site speed without wading through complicated settings, or worrying it might clash with your other plugins? EasyBooster was built to solve exactly that.

Simply activate the plugin, and it automatically handles the following optimizations. No settings screen to configure.

What it does

  • Preconnect to Google Fonts and Gravatar
  • Lazy loading of embedded YouTube, Vimeo, and Google Maps content
  • Automatic WebP conversion of images in your content
  • LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) image priority loading and preload optimization
  • Font display optimization (font-display: swap, same-origin font preload)
  • Delayed firing of the GA4 tracking tag
  • Removal of the emoji script
  • Deferred script loading to reduce render blocking
  • Instant page prefetching for faster navigation
  • Split CSS loading for the block editor

All of these directly affect your PageSpeed Insights (PSI) score, particularly LCP and Core Web Vitals.

Built for safety

EasyBooster is designed to automatically avoid the kinds of trouble that commonly arise from plugin conflicts (broken layouts, disrupted styling, features breaking). ) are active, any feature that could conflict is automatically disabled. EasyBooster never rewrites your existing HTML or CSS — it only adds or supplements functionality to boost performance.

Even if a given feature can’t take effect on your setup, the plugin is built to fail safely without breaking your site.

Who it’s for

  • Anyone looking to boost their PageSpeed Insights, Core Web Vitals, or LCP score
  • Anyone who wants faster page speed without complicated setup
  • Anyone specifically looking for preconnect, lazy loading, or WebP conversion
  • Blogs, e-commerce sites, and business sites with lots of images, video, or map embeds

External services

EasyBooster does not add any third-party service to your site on its own. It only optimizes the loading of resources that you have already added (a Google Fonts stylesheet, a GA4 tag, a YouTube/Vimeo/Google Maps embed, or Gravatar avatars). For those resources it adds preconnect / dns-prefetch resource hints so the browser can open the connection earlier, and for embeds it defers loading until the visitor interacts.

These hints cause the visitor’s browser to make an early network connection (which exposes the visitor’s IP address, as any request to that host would) only when the corresponding resource is already present on the page. The plugin itself sends no additional personal data. Additionally, when your site enqueues a third-party font stylesheet (other than Google Fonts), EasyBooster may fetch that stylesheet once from your server (not the visitor’s browser) to read its @font-face rules and apply font-display: swap.

This server-side request downloads only the CSS file you already load; it sends no personal data and the result is cached.

The services involved are:

Google Fonts — Used only when your site already enqueues a Google Fonts stylesheet. com so the font can load faster. The browser connects to Google (exposing the visitor’s IP address) when the page loads.

com/fonts/faq/privacy

com. com. Data is sent to Google by your own tag, on the same events as before — EasyBooster only changes the timing; it does not add tracking.

com/privacy

Google Maps — Used only when your content already embeds a Google Map. com. The map (and any request to Google) loads only after the visitor clicks the placeholder.

com/privacy

com. EasyBooster only adds a dns-prefetch hint for that host; the avatar images themselves are handled by WordPress core, not by this plugin.

com/privacy/

YouTube / Vimeo — Used only when your content already embeds a YouTube or Vimeo video. com). The video (and any request to these services) loads only when the visitor plays it.
