External services This plugin relies on the following third-party services. Each is described below with what it is used for, what data is sent, and when it is sent. Appsero (telemetry and license/update checks) EchoRewards uses the Appsero SDK to collect optional telemetry that helps us troubleshoot problems and improve the plugin. Appsero does not gather any data by default . Data is only collected after the site administrator explicitly opts in through the admin notice. When opted in, it sends the site URL, WordPress and PHP versions, the plugin version and active/inactive plugin and theme information, and the administrator’s name and email address. Data is sent when the plugin is activated or deactivated, and periodically thereafter. Service provided by Appsero: privacy policy . icanhazip.com (IP address lookup) As part of the optional Appsero telemetry described above, the site’s public IP address is looked up through icanhazip.com. No data about your site or its visitors is transmitted to this service; the request only returns the IP address of the server making it. This request is only made when telemetry has been enabled by the administrator. Service provided by icanhazip.com: terms of service and privacy policy . WPPOOL newsletter and CRM (fluent.wppool.dev) If the site administrator opts in through the admin notice, the administrator’s name and email address are sent to WPPOOL’s own CRM so we can send product updates and onboarding emails. QR Server (QR codes for WeChat sharing) When the referral sharing options include WeChat, the plugin displays a QR code image generated by the QR Server API. The referral link or referral coupon message being shared is sent to api.qrserver.com as part of the image URL so the QR code can be generated. This happens when a customer views the referral sharing options with WeChat enabled. If you do not enable WeChat as a sharing platform, no request is made to this service. Service provided by QR Server: terms of service and privacy policy . Privacy Policy EchoReward uses Appsero SDK to collect some telemetry data upon user’s confirmation. This helps us to troubleshoot problems faster & make product improvements. Appsero SDK does not gather any data by default. The SDK only starts gathering basic telemetry data when a user allows it via the admin notice . We collect the data to ensure a great user experience for all our users.
