Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records English Chess Data version 1.0.3 as active, updated 1y ago and tested up to WordPress 6.8.

About this plugin

Displays Chess Data for English Clubs Leagues and Players

This plugin connects to and displays data from the English Chess Federation’s League Management System,

when using this plugins shortcodes within your pages.

  • API Access from the LMS System documentation
  • English Chess Federations Privacy Policy

It has shortcodes that can be used to include a list of upcoming matches ‘Fixtures’, a list of played matches ‘Results’, and also display ‘Tables’ from the organisation.

ShortCodes

There are 3 shortcodes that can be used once the Plugin is installed and configured:

[echd_fixtures event_name="Event Name"] [echd_results event_name="Event Name"] [echd_table event_name="Event Name"]

The event_name attribute in the shortcodes is the name of the event, and must match exactly, see the screenshot 3 below.

In the echd_table this attribute is mandatory, for the others it is optional.

Limitations / Improvements

[echd_table] shortcode does not currently work for cups.

Currently you can only add one organisation and a club within it.
