Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Favorite Toots version 0.2.7 as active, updated 2mo ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.
Overview
About this plugin
Use the Favorite Toots block to quickly add a list of your favorite toots from Mastodon to any page on your website. The toots appear as a fully styled list. You can see how it looks by viewing my favorite toots on my website.
One of the primary ways I find new accounts to follow is by eavesdropping on other people’s favorites. ). I wanted to show my favorite toots publicly so that people can look through them.
I’m hoping you’ll make your favorite toots public this way too.
