Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Flexible FAQ version 0.2 as active, updated 12y ago and tested up to WordPress 4.0.
Overview
About this plugin
I have created this plugin to use on my client’s websites to provide an easy FAQ section when needed. It provided much more flexibility than adding an FAQ section into the theme.
Hope this plugin would help anyone who needed a FAQ section in their website.
Shortcodes
You can add the [faq] shortcode to any page to display the FAQ section. This shortcode does accept few attributes.
style – possibilities: pretty, block, list
ids – possibilities: comma separated IDs of FAQ items.
category – possibilities: category slug.
for example: [faq style=”pretty”]
You can re-order the FAQ items by drag them in FAQ admin page.

“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
