WP PlugIndex currently records Flickr Fallback Thumbnail version 1.0 as active, updated 11y ago and tested up to WordPress 4.1.
Adding explicit thumbnails (featured images) to your content takes time. org or so. This plugin hooks into the thumbnail URL and changes this with an image from the Flickr API, based on the tags in your post.
If Flickr couldn’t find anything, it will return an empty string. I have achieved good results, with posts that all of a sudden had a rather adequate thumbnail.
[Flickr images might have licensing issues, so I recommend to use this plugin only on personal sites]
Not yet marked as tested with WordPress 7.1. WordPress.org currently lists Tested up to 4.1.
“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
