Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. WP PlugIndex currently records FLiP – Portuguese Proofing Tools version 1.5.14 as active, updated 6y ago and tested up to WordPress 4.9.
IMPORTANT: The free version of the plugin only checks the spelling of the texts in the pre 1990 Spelling Reform and doesn’t present any suggestions for the errors. This means that no grammar and style checking is done and only texts following the pre 1990 Spelling Reform can be used.
To unleash all the features of the plugin you should get a key to have access to Priberam’s proofing API.
Not compatible with Gutenberg.
Not yet marked as tested with WordPress 7.1. WordPress.org currently lists Tested up to 4.9.
“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
No tracked version or compatibility changes have been recorded by WP PlugIndex yet.
WP PlugIndex tracks public WordPress.org directory metadata and records selected version, compatibility and availability changes as they are detected.
