Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records Folderit Forms version 0.1.7 as active, updated 1mo ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

Folderit Forms connects a WordPress site to a Folderit account. Administrators can import an existing Folderit e-form template or create a new template, choose a destination folder, customize the visitor experience, and publish the form with a Gutenberg block or shortcode.

Each successful submission creates a Folderit data item. File fields use Folderit’s staged upload process and are attached directly to the matching data item field. Folderit credentials remain on the WordPress server and are never sent to visitors.

Features:

  • Guided form editor with a visitor preview.
  • Existing Folderit templates or WordPress-managed templates.
  • Text, long text, email, number, dropdown, checkbox, date, file, relation, table, and information fields.
  • Destination folder browser.
  • Gutenberg block and [folderit_form id="123"] shortcode.
  • Server-side validation, upload controls, rate limiting, duplicate protection, and a spam honeypot.
  • Optional administrator and visitor confirmation emails.
  • Privacy-conscious delivery activity without local form-value storage.
  • Accessible no-JavaScript submission fallback.

External service

This plugin connects to Folderit, an external document management service, only after a WordPress administrator enters Folderit OAuth client credentials and chooses an account. When a visitor submits a published form, the entered field values and selected files are transferred to the chosen Folderit account. com.
