Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Force Protocol-less Links version 1.1.1 as active, updated 8y ago and tested up to WordPress 4.9.
Overview
About this plugin
With the rise of secure websites we need an easy way of replacing all the http links with its secured version. With this plugin you only have to install and activate it and it replaces all the protocols on-the-fly. It doesn’t modify the database or theme contents in any way.
This plugin tries to facilitate the transition from an unsecure site to a secure version of the site.
