Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Forum Subscription Admin for bbPress version 1.2.0 as active, updated 2h ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.
Overview
About this plugin
Choose one forum under Settings > Forum subscriptions. View its subscription status in the Users list, filter subscribed or unsubscribed users, and change subscriptions from WordPress user profile screens.
Only direct subscriptions to the selected forum are displayed and changed. Individual topic subscriptions and subscriptions to child forums are not included or changed. Changing the selected forum never migrates or deletes subscriptions.
Features:
A subscription status column and filter in the site Users list.
Compatibility with user search, role filters, and pagination. Role-tab counts remain the normal WordPress counts.
A profile checkbox saved through the standard bbPress subscription APIs after WordPress successfully saves the profile.
Capability checks for the operator and forum access checks for the subscriber, including restricted ancestor forums.
Configuration notices when bbPress, subscriptions, or the selected forum are unavailable.
English source strings ready for WordPress.org language packs.
6 or later with subscriptions enabled is required. 5 and later recognize the Requires Plugins header. Earlier supported WordPress versions use the plugin’s own runtime checks.
This is an independent plugin by ボウズシステムズ, not an official bbPress project.
