Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records Future version 1.2.4 as active, updated 12y ago and tested up to WordPress 4.0.

Overview

About this plugin

The ‘Future’ plugin allows posts with future scheduled dates to be integrated into a site. This can be useful, for example, with events that have associated dates in the future. Such future posts can, with this plugin, be displayed, both individually and in archive lists.

This plugin also adds functionality to the built-in calendar widget. It adds a checkbox to include future posts in the calendar, and it allows the calendar to be configured to show posts from a single category.

“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
