Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Hashtags for WordPress version 1.0.3 as active, updated 3y ago and tested up to WordPress 6.2.

It then links the tags to their respective tag archives, which can be useful for digital newspapers and magazines. With this plugin, you can easily turn your WordPress tags into hashtags, making your content more discoverable and shareable on social media.
The plugin comes with several customization options. You can change the default hashtag symbol used by the plugin, as well as the color of the links. You can also modify the plugin behavior through the settings panel, allowing you to fine-tune the plugin to your needs.
