Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records AFIWAI – I Pay You – Payment Links for PayPal.Me version 2.0.1 as active, updated 1mo ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

Me payment requests without API keys, a shopping cart, or a heavy checkout system.

Why use I Pay You?

  • Fast setup — save a PayPal.Me username once and start publishing payment links.
  • Two flexible shortcodes — use a visitor-entered amount form or a direct preset payment link.
  • Multi-currency requests — EUR, USD, GBP, CAD, AUD, CHF, and JPY are included.
  • Responsive and accessible — clean form controls, keyboard focus states, and live result feedback.
  • Lightweight — no payment API, no database tables, no external JavaScript libraries, and no tracking.
  • Privacy-conscious — the plugin does not contact PayPal before a visitor opens a payment link.
  • Backward compatible — the original [ipayou_paypalme_link] and [ipayou_generate_paypalme_link] shortcodes remain supported.
  • Page-builder friendly — works anywhere WordPress shortcodes are rendered, including many widget and builder areas.
