What Lite does

  • Converts eligible JPG, PNG, GIF, and WebP images to optimized WebP output.
  • Preserves animated GIF files by skipping them.
  • Applies maximum width and height limits when configured.
  • Lets you control WebP quality.
  • Can crop portrait images to a practical ratio when enabled.
  • Skips very small images when optimization is not useful.
  • Keeps recent diagnostic records for processing results.
  • Stores settings, statistics, and diagnostic data locally in WordPress.

Privacy and processing

ImgDexter Lite processes eligible media locally on your WordPress installation. It does not send your media library or diagnostics to an external optimization service. Upgrade links may open Dall Dexter product pages, but Lite processing itself remains local.
