A simple, mobile-friendly stocktaking app for WooCommerce.
Count your physical stock from your phone, compare it with WooCommerce, and safely update your inventory when the stocktake is complete.
Inventory Check for WooCommerce gives warehouse staff a dedicated stocktaking interface on your own WordPress site. There is no need to count stock from wp-admin or maintain a separate spreadsheet.

Simple WooCommerce stocktaking
Start a stock check and work through your physical inventory using a phone, tablet, or computer.
- Search products by name or SKU
- Scan barcodes with the phone camera
- Count simple products and variations
- Enter the quantity physically in front of you
- Pause and resume a stock check
- Keep counting if the connection drops, then sync when you are back online
- See which products have already been counted
Find stock discrepancies
When counting is complete, Inventory Check compares your physical counts with the quantities recorded in WooCommerce.
You can quickly see:
- Expected WooCommerce stock
- Physical quantity counted
- Stock differences
- Products requiring a recheck
Safely update WooCommerce stock
Inventory Check does not change your WooCommerce inventory while your team is counting.
A supervisor reviews the completed stocktake before approving any changes.
Inventory Check also detects when WooCommerce stock has changed during the stocktake. Conflicting products are flagged for review instead of overwriting newer stock quantities.
Designed for phones
The stocktaking interface runs outside wp-admin at /inventory-check/ and is designed for use while walking around your stockroom or warehouse.
You can optionally add Inventory Check to your phone’s home screen for quick access.

What this plugin does not do
- It does not replace a warehouse-management system
- It does not collect customer names, addresses, emails, or payment data
- It does not change WooCommerce stock until a supervisor confirms in the app

This plugin requires WooCommerce. Pretty permalinks are required for the app URL.
Privacy
Inventory Check processes:
- WordPress account data already on the site (login, display name, user ID)
- WooCommerce product names, SKUs, barcodes/GTINs, thumbnails, and stock quantities
- Stocktake names, physical counts, and audit rows of stock changes
It does not process customer personal data or payment card data. Counts stay on the merchant’s WordPress site. com inventory cloud.
The optional home-screen app uses a service worker that caches CSS, JavaScript, and icons only. It does not cache authenticated REST responses.
Unsynced counts may be kept in the browser (IndexedDB), keyed by WordPress user ID, and are wiped on log out.
