Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records IP.Board Comments version 1.3.1 as active, updated 14y ago and tested up to WordPress 3.3.

Overview

About this plugin

Board or Invision Power Board) to replace or enhance your WordPress comments. When a new WordPress post is created in a mapped category, it will cross-post to your IPB forum with a link back to the WordPress post. The IPB forum link is saved in a custom field and will appear in the footer of your post.

You may find it much easier to manage comments and users on the forum, rather than using the minimal WordPress comment system.

Your IPB installation must reside on the same server as your WordPress installation.

“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
