Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records LH Assign Role On Logon version 1.04 as active, updated 10y ago and tested up to WordPress 4.4.
Overview
About this plugin
Are you running a WordPress network? You no longer need to manually add new users to each of your sites.
With this plugin, users are assigned a default role on a new site when they log in for the first time (they authenticate against the network username and password). You set the default role for each site and this plugin applies it. If the user already has a higher role assigned they keep their role on logon
You can assign different roles for each site or keep a site private by assigning no role.

“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
