Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Loft Maintenance version 1.0.0 as active, updated 10y ago and tested up to WordPress 4.5.
Overview
About this plugin
Loft Maintenance is a small plugin to help you lock down your site quickly whenever your site is down for maintenance or currently in development. You can choose to enable the maintenance mode, then set the maintenance page which will show to all visitors, except the site administrators. And you can also choose some other public pages.
The site administrators still have the full privileges to view the whole site without any restriction (front end and back end) even in maintenance mode.
PS: The plugin does not create a maintenance page for your site. You need to create a page and add content to it to let your visitors know the site is under construction. By working with our another WP plugin LoftBuilder, you can easily create a beautiful page in minutes.

“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
