Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Mad Cow Auto Complete Orders for WooCommerce version 1.1.0 as active, updated 16h ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.
Overview
About this plugin
WooCommerce only completes an order automatically when every item in it is both virtual and downloadable. Everything else waits in Processing until someone marks it Completed by hand, including event tickets, class registrations, memberships, services and bookings that never need to be shipped.
This plugin completes those orders for you. Set your rules under WooCommerce → MCW Auto Complete Orders, grouped into Products, Fulfillment, Payments and General tabs. When a paid order reaches Processing and any rule matches, the order is marked Completed and a note on the order records which rule matched.

Coupon codes — the order used one of your coupons.
Payment methods — the order was paid with one of your chosen gateways.
Shipping classes — every item is in one of your chosen shipping classes.
