Active installationsNewAdoption metric — not a quality score

Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Multilify version 1.8.1 as active, updated 3d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.
Overview
About this plugin
Multilify keeps every translation inside the post it translates. There is no copy per language to keep in sync: one post, and an address for each language.
example.com/hello/ is the original
example.com/de/hallo/ and example.com/es/hola/ are the same post in German and Spanish
What it does
Unlimited languages, each with its own address prefix
A slug of its own for every language, nested pages included
hreflang tags with x-default, a lang attribute that follows the page, and a sitemap for each language
One Translations box on the post, in the block and the classic editor, with a title, slug and content for each language
A language switcher as a shortcode, [multilify_switcher], or a template tag
No outbound requests, no account and no pro tier

“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
