Reinvent WP Text to Speech (formerly Natural Text To Speech) adds a “Listen” button that reads your posts aloud in a natural AI voice. As the audio plays, the current sentence and word are highlighted on the page, so readers can listen and follow along at the same time. It turns any post into text to audio in seconds, with no setup.
Works right after activation. No API key, no credit card, no configuration. Activate the plugin and the player appears on your posts, powered by 20,000 free characters a month from Reinvent WP Cloud Free.
Use the voice provider you prefer. Start with free voices, connect your own ElevenLabs account (10,000 free characters a month), or upgrade to PRO to use OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Google Cloud, Amazon Polly or Azure AI Speech with your own API key. Don’t want to manage API keys?
PRO also includes Reinvent WP Cloud PRO: premium voices with no API key and 40,000 characters a month. You can switch providers at any time without changing plugins.

Shortcodes
The player is added to your posts automatically. Use the Gutenberg block (search for “Reinvent WP TTS”) or the shortcode to place and configure it yourself:

External Services
Nothing is sent until you use the related feature. Audio files and settings stay on your site.

- Voice (the default provider): when a visitor presses play, their browser sends the text to be read, so the service also sees their IP address. Your site URL and plan are sent to check your quota.
- License: opening the settings page checks your license through Freemius (email, site URL, license and plan).
- Error logs: the error message, plugin version and site URL.
- Apps list: the Reinvent WP → Dashboard page downloads the list of apps at most once a day. Nothing about you is sent.
- Assistant: when you send a question, it sends the question, any files you attach (emails, IP addresses, passwords and keys are hidden first), the last few messages and your Reinvent WP plugins with their versions. Nothing is stored. Feedback you send from it goes to our team with your email and site address.
com: shows offers on the settings page and records whether they were shown, dismissed or clicked.
Your own voice provider (OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Google Cloud, Amazon Polly, Azure AI Speech, or a Custom API address you enter): the text is sent from your site straight to that provider with your API key. Keys stay in your WordPress database and are never sent to us. See each provider’s privacy policy: OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Google Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure.
