Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records Nextenvios for WooCommerce version 1.0.1 as active, updated 21d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

Nextenvios is the platform Chilean last-mile delivery companies use to receive, route and deliver their customers’ packages. If your store ships with one of those companies, this plugin connects your store so that every order that meets your rules arrives by itself as a package, with the right commune and address. No typing, no spreadsheets.

  • One click to connect. Press “Connect” in your WordPress, sign in to Nextenvios and approve the access WooCommerce asks for.
  • You decide which orders go. By status (paid, on hold…), shipping method, excluded products or categories, the company’s coverage, and a pause switch for holidays. Each order shows in a column whether it goes and why.
  • Chilean communes at checkout. The City field becomes a list of communes, filtered by region, with only the communes your delivery company covers or all of them. If you already use another commune plugin, it detects it and stays out of the way.
  • A home delivery shipping method with a fixed price, a price per commune, or free shipping from an amount. Your buyers see “Home delivery” (or the name you choose), never “Nextenvios”.
  • Works with the block-based and the classic checkout, and with High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).

Every option in the plugin explains what it does, what your buyers see and what happens if you change it. The Nextenvios → Help screen has the full guide.

External services

cl), a delivery management service operated by Nextstation SpA (Chile). It is required for the plugin to work.

  • When you press “Connect”, your browser is sent to the Nextenvios app (https://app.nextenvios.cl) with your store address. There you sign in and approve the access through WooCommerce’s own authorization screen, which creates a REST API key for Nextenvios.
  • When an order is created or changes, WooCommerce notifies Nextenvios (a webhook) and Nextenvios reads that order through the REST API. For each order that goes, Nextenvios uses only the recipient’s name, phone, address and commune, the order number and, if you allow it, the buyer’s note. It never uses the buyer’s email, tax id (RUT), payment details or product prices.
  • Once a day, the plugin asks Nextenvios (https://integraciones.nextenvios.cl) for the list of communes your delivery company covers, and tells it the plugin version and whether sending is paused. No buyer data is sent in these requests.

You can revoke the access at any time by disconnecting in Nextenvios → Home, or by deleting the key in WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API.
