Removes the mandatory 'Category Base' and every parent category from your category permalinks.

WP PlugIndex currently records No Category Parents version 0.3.1 as active, updated 2mo ago and tested up to WordPress 7.0.
This plugin completely removes the mandatory ‘Category Base’ and all the parents from your
g. /category/parent-category/my-category/ becomes /my-category/ ).
It also shortens post permalinks when you use the /%category%/ permastruct, so a post filed
under a deeply nested category still gets a short URL.
If a post or page already uses the same slug as a category, the post keeps the clean URL and
the category is served from /my-category-cat/ instead.
Not yet marked as tested with WordPress 7.1. WordPress.org currently lists Tested up to 7.0.
“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
