Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records Noted Visual Feedback version 1.0.6 as active, updated 5mo ago and tested up to WordPress 6.9.

About this plugin

Noted Visual Feedback adds a lightweight feedback overlay to your WordPress site. Pin comments anywhere on any page, start threaded discussions, and share a review link with clients or teammates. No screenshots, no separate tools, no external accounts.

All feedback data is stored in your own WordPress database in custom tables. The plugin makes no external HTTP calls of any kind.

What’s included

  • Threaded replies on each pin
  • Page-scoped share links for guest reviewers (no WordPress account required)
  • Password and expiry controls on share links
  • Admin dashboard with pin list, pin detail view, and per-pin resolve/delete

  • Email notifications on new pins and replies
  • Opt-in “Powered by Noted” attribution (off by default)
