Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records Optimizely Campaign version 1.0.0 as active, updated 1y ago and tested up to WordPress 6.8.

Usage Instructions

Step 1: Configure Optimizely Mail Settings and Default Mail Settings =

To start using the plugin, navigate to the Mail Settings tab and enter your Optimizely SMTP credentials + default

mail service details.

The Optimizely Mail Configuration section sets the mail settings for email events that will be sent through

Optimizely Campaign.

The Default Mail Configuration section sets the mail settings for email events that will be sent through the default

mail service in WordPress. The Default From Email and the Default From Name have initial values and should only be updated if you are certain that

you need to use a different From Email address.

Filling out these settings is necessary to start sending emails through Optimizely Campaign.

Step 2: Set Up Newsletter Settings

Set up your Opt-in Process in Optimizely Campaign and make sure that Confirmation Page URL includes the bmrecipientid

** and **bmrecipientlistid query parameters.

Once the Opt-in Process is set up, go to the Newsletter Settings tab in the Optimizely Campaign plugin page, provide

the necessary information for newsletter processing. The necessary information is a recipient list authorization code

and an opt-in process id from Optimizely Campaign.

After the recipient list information is defined, you can select which data fields from WordPress/WooCommerce are synced to Optimizely Campaign.

Step 3: Select Transactional Mails for SMTP Delivery =

Once your SMTP settings are configured, go to the respective WP Core Event Settings, WooCommerce Event Settings

and Other Event Settings tabs and select the event emails you want to send via Optimizely Campaign. The unselected

events will go through the default WordPress mail service.

Step 4: Add the Newsletter Form to a Page or Post =

After configuring the newsletter settings, copy the shortcode provided by the plugin and paste it into any page or post

where you want the newsletter subscription form to appear.

their subscription via email. Ensure the Confirmation Page URL set up in your Optimizely client matches the URL of the

confirmation page set up in your site.

Step 6: Start Accepting Subscriptions

With the newsletter settings, newsletter form and confirmation page in place, visitors to your site can now subscribe

and unsubscribe to your newsletter seamlessly whether they\’re a guest or a WooCommerce customer.
