Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records PageSoar Connector version 2.2.0 as active, updated 8d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

Your pages already rank for things you never planned for, and the fixes are small: a title that gets clicked, a description that says what the page does, a heading Google can read. PageSoar finds them and drafts each one. You approve it.

This plugin is how the approved fix reaches your site.

A PageSoar account is required. com. Without a PageSoar workspace it does nothing.

What PageSoar can change on your site, once you approve it:

  • Search titles, descriptions and the hide-from-Google setting of pages and posts (Yoast SEO, Rank Math and All in One SEO fields)
  • Page text and headings, saved as a WordPress revision you can compare and restore
  • Image alt text, and a new share image added to the media library
  • Structured data Google reads: FAQ, breadcrumbs and awards you confirm
  • Redirects for pages that are gone, when the site runs Safe Redirect Manager or Rank Math
  • PageSoar’s heat map script on your public pages, once you turn heat maps on

What it can never do:

  • Publish a draft, or delete anything
  • Change users, plugins, themes or site settings
  • Add any other script, or unfiltered HTML
  • Save over a page somebody has open in the editor

PageSoar signs in as its own user, pagesoar-connector, with a key made for your site when you connect. It never uses your login and needs no application password. Every change is listed under Settings, PageSoar, where you can undo it, pause PageSoar or disconnect it.

External services

com run by Skail Consulting LLC. That is its whole purpose: without it the plugin does nothing. Nothing is sent until you paste a connection code from your PageSoar account and press Connect.

What is sent, and when:

  • When you press Connect: the connection code you pasted, this site’s address and home address, the name of the PageSoar service user, the key made for PageSoar, and the versions of the plugin, WordPress, PHP and your SEO plugin. Sent to https://pagesoar.com/connector/v1/pair.
  • When you press Check with PageSoar, or Disconnect, or deactivate the plugin: this site’s PageSoar token and home address, and for a check the same versions. Sent to https://pagesoar.com/connector/v1/ping.

After you connect, PageSoar calls this site’s own REST API with its key, to read pages and to make the changes a person approves in PageSoar. That traffic goes from PageSoar to your site.

com/heat/v1/e: the page’s path, the screen width, how far down the page the visitor scrolled and where they clicked. Never what anyone types, the text on the page, the visitor’s IP address or any cookie; it sets no cookie, and it does not run for a browser that sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. com/privacy#privacy-heat
