Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Pig Latin version 0.2 as active, updated 12y ago and tested up to WordPress 4.0.
Overview
About this plugin
Checking if all the strings in your plugin or theme are translatable can be a tedious task. Pig Latin helps you
by translating all messages to Pig Latin. For example Edit Pages is translated to Editay agesPay.
Text in Pig Latin is both noticeably different than English and readable. This way you can spot strings, which aren’t translatable, while the interface is stil usable.
