Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Pinterest Pinboard Widget version 1.0.7 as active, updated 8y ago and tested up to WordPress 4.1.
Overview
About this plugin
This plugin adds your favorite pins much like the pinboards on Pinterest. It uses the original thumbnails from Pinterest itself. The plugin aims to have the same look and feel as the pinboords on Pinterest.
To improve your site’s performance, the pins are cached every 15 minutes.
The Pinterest Pinboard can be used as a widget in your sidebar or on any page using the shortcode.
