Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Variation Swatches for WooCommerce by Positivecarry version 1.0.1 as active, updated 2mo ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.
Overview
About this plugin
Variation Swatches for WooCommerce by Positivecarry is a lightweight plugin that automatically replaces standard WooCommerce variation dropdown selects with clickable button swatches.
No complex settings or bloated admin panels. Simply activate the plugin, and your product variations will instantly look professional and conversion-ready.
Features:
Zero Configuration: Works right out of the box. Just plug and play.
Lightweight: No heavy CSS/JS frameworks. It uses vanilla styling and the basic jQuery that WooCommerce already loads.
Better UX/UI: Improves customer experience by showing all available options as clear buttons.
Selected State: Visual checkmark indicator for selected variations.
