Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Pro-AdBlock version 2.0.0 as active, updated 8y ago and tested up to WordPress 4.9.

About this plugin
Advertising displayed on webpages can be a security risk. Currently, the advertising consists of embedded third party content. These contents are not under the website’s owner editorial control and add a repeatedly criminally exploited attack vector to the website.
An adblocker protects a user’s surfing. This plugin supports the usage of advertisement blockers and shows a warning message to users that have no adblocker enabled.
