ProofNexus is a lightweight, high-performance social proof plugin for WordPress and WooCommerce. It displays unobtrusive “recent activity” popups — such as live sales notifications — so visitors can see that real people are buying, building trust and encouraging conversions without slowing your site down. Core features (100% free): Live WooCommerce Sales Popups — automatically pull recent completed/processing orders and show them as real-time notification popups on the front end. Works entirely without WooCommerce too — see below. Custom Notifications — create manual, custom social proof popups for any use case (signups, downloads, announcements, etc.), with no limit on how many you can create. WordPress Comment Popups — a free, always-available module that shows a popup whenever a new comment is approved, no other plugin required. REST API Delivery — popups are fetched via a lightweight, cache-friendly REST endpoint instead of blocking page load. Full Design Control — configure popup position, colors, border radius, display duration, delay, and frequency from a clean tabbed settings screen. Privacy-Conscious Display Modes — show a buyer’s full name, first name + city, or a fully anonymized city-only label. Role Management & Reporting Frequency — control which roles can manage settings and how often summary data is considered. Developer-Friendly — clean action/filter hooks throughout so the plugin can be extended without touching core files. ProofNexus is built to be fully functional as a standalone free plugin. Optional Pro integrations (ActiveCampaign, LearnDash, Google Reviews, Elementor, Mailchimp, Zapier) are available separately and never disable or degrade the free feature set. Privacy Notice The free WooCommerce module only ever displays data the site owner has explicitly enabled via the privacy mode setting (full name, first name + city, or anonymized city). No email addresses, order IDs, or other personally identifying order data are ever exposed on the front end or via the REST endpoint.
