Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Psalm 119 version 1.1 as active, updated 9y ago and tested up to WordPress 4.7.
Overview
About this plugin
This plugin adds an exerpt from Psalm 119 to the upper content area of the admin section of WordPress and is based on Matt Mullenweg’s ‘Hello Dolly’ plugin.
Example of the exerpts included:
Open my eyes that I may see
Blessed are those who keep His statutes
I am a stranger on earth
Your statutes are my delight
I seek You with all my heart
Do not let me stray from Your commands
I have hidden Your word in my heart
Preserve my life according to Your word
My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to Your word
Give me understanding, so that I may keep Your law
Turn my eyes away from worthless things
Preserve my life according to Your word
May Your unfailing love come to me, Lord
I will always obey Your law
I will speak of Your statutes before kings
Remember Your word to Your servant
Your promise preserves my life
