Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records Qrlastica – QR Code Generator with Logo version 1.0.22 as active, updated 16d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

Qrlastica is a QR code generator plugin for WordPress.

Create QR codes from URLs or text, customize the QR code color, add a logo, preview the result, and download the finished QR code.

Qrlastica also provides the [qrlastica] shortcode for displaying QR codes in WordPress posts and pages.

Logos used with copied shortcodes are saved in WordPress so they can be displayed on your website.

Features

  • Generate QR codes from URLs or text.
  • Add a custom logo or image.
  • Customize QR code colors.
  • Preview QR codes before use.
  • Download QR codes as PNG.
  • Download QR codes as SVG.
  • Display QR codes using the [qrlastica] shortcode.
  • Responsive design for desktop and mobile devices.

Usage

Open Qrlastica from the WordPress admin area and enter the URL or text you want to encode.

Customize the QR code color and optionally add a logo. You can preview the QR code and download it as PNG or SVG.

To display the QR code on your website, copy the Qrlastica shortcode and paste it into a post or page.

The basic shortcode is:

[qrlastica]<h3>Privacy</h3>

QR codes are generated in the browser.

When a logo is used with a copied shortcode, the logo is saved in WordPress so it can be displayed with the QR code on your website.
