Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Quotanto – Request a Quote for WooCommerce version 1.0.2 as active, updated 10d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.
Overview
About this plugin
Add a request a quote button to WooCommerce, hide prices or run a catalog mode. Quotes end at your own checkout.
A customer asks for a quote on a product page, or for their whole cart.
The request arrives as a WooCommerce order. You set prices, shipping and fees on the order screen and choose “Send quote to customer”.
The customer accepts from the email or from My account. Their cart is filled with what you quoted, and they pay at your store’s checkout, block or classic.
Built to be reliable
Quotes are WooCommerce orders. No custom tables, no second cart, no separate payment page.
The customer pays what you quoted: prices, shipping and fees.
No cookies or sessions for visitors who only browse, so page caching keeps working.
Works with High-Performance Order Storage and with cart and checkout blocks.
Quotes never count as revenue in WooCommerce Analytics. The paid order does.
Quotes expire on their own.
Features
Simple and variable products.
Quote for the whole cart, quote-only products included.
Quote button on shop and category pages.

My account: customers see their quotes and accept from there.
